About Me
- Name: waldschrat
- Location: Sacramento, California, USA
I am a retired engineer trying to help the Mosul Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Hospital in Mosul, Iraq get the supplies they need. The hospital suffered serious shortages of chemotherapy drugs in 2005 and 2006. I have tried to use this blog to document my efforts to deliver what I can to the hospital and encourage others to do likewise. The project is currently suspended because hospital contacts have told me the need has passed. If requested I will resume my efforts. (updated Nov. 23, 2011)

Glad to hear your getting better.
Keep up the good work.
Well, better is a relative word but I'm getting some vigor back. Having a hard time figuring out how well the arrangements between Life for Relief and Development and Ameristat are going, doing a lot more "standing on the sidelines" with this shipment than with previous shipments, but things aer in fact coming together and hopefully the stuff will leave Minnesota next week. If I was certain and didn't have to say "hopefully" I'd be happier.
